An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally licensed tax professional, authorized by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS. EAs handle tax return preparation, tax planning, and a wide range of tax matters — and hold unlimited practice rights, meaning they can represent any taxpayer, on any tax issue, before any IRS office.

Becoming an EA means earning the credential — starting with a three-part exam covering individual and business tax law, plus a background check. Maintaining the license means completing continuing education every year, for as long as you practice.

Taxes are the entire focus, and that's why I choose to do what I do.

Curious what this means for your return? Let's talk!  I'm happy to answer any questions before you decide who handles your taxes.
